and designations The Institute positively encourages the display of membership certificates by members at their workplace so that the name of the Institute is thereby widely publicised. Similarly, the use of designatory letters on pre-printed stationery and when signing letters etc, is to be encouraged for the same reason. Both practices will help to bring about a situation where all those in membership of The Institute of Indirect Taxation are recognised as such and that their clients will come to expect their advisers to hold such membership. Membership certificates remain the property of The Institute and must be returned to the Institute upon termination or non-renewal of membership. Use of designatory letters must cease upon termination or non-renewal of membership. |
